BTJunkie which was founded in 2005 has been huge torrent site for over half a decade. It should be noted that they are closing their web doors and it is not because they are involved in any legal action being taken on them but most likely in fear that it could happen. After seeing other sites go down and get hard penalties it is not irrational to think they were scared of the same things happening. Although the owner of BTJunkie isn’t fully getting out of the torrent game but most likely backing off until things cool down a bit. Even though BTJunkie hasn’t been targeted it has raised eyebrows in the past, it is one of the few search terms censored by Google due to piracy related content. However with this site going down there will just be another to step up and take its place.
