Lenovo launching a tasty TV

by

Android Ice Cream Sandwich
At this year’s CES it seems Lenovo is getting into the TV business. They have announced they are making a TV that will run on Android 4.0! For those who don’t know, that is the Ice Cream Sandwich OS of Android. The Lenovo K91 Smart TV is said to be only available in China for the moment but could be looking to expand to other countries as soon as later in the year. With this exciting news one could only imagine what Apple is working on and for them not to get into the game early could potentially hurt their stock in the TV game as they were the true front runners in smartphones and then in tablets. The TV is said to have some pretty nice specs as well. Including the K91 Qualcomm 8060 Snapdragon processor @ 1.5 Ghz, 1GB of RAM with 8 GB of storage and 2GB GB SD card as well. The TV’s will come in a 42 in and a 50 in 3D LED. They even stepped it up with a 5 MP webcam that you can use for facial recognition for parental controls! Finally there will be a 3-axis gyro touchpad which from all accounts will have a integrated microphone and voice recognition.
